Everyone needs a bit of adventure every and awhile. Life would be stagnant and boring without the occasional thrill of something new, unexpected, and exciting. Minneapolis is teeming with possibilities for any Minneapolitan to enjoy. These eight places are the perfect spots to visit as adventure awaits.
If you're looking for the most Minneapolis adventure ever, look no further than the Sculpture Garden. If you're still not satisfied, wander over to Loring Park or into the Walker Art Center.
2. Give rock climbing a try at Vertical Endeavors.
Up-Down is an arcade and a bar. Best of all, it's locally owned. Play some Skee Ball, pinball, giant Jenga, and so much more while you drink beer and eat pizza. What's not to love?
You never know what kind of adventure you'll run into on a hike. While the falls is the big selling point at Minnehaha Regional Park, there are also a variety of trails that could lead you all the way to Fort Snelling.
You get to decide what the treasure is at this super cool thrift shop. Local artists sometime set up shop at Junket and sell their work made from recycled materials. You never know what gem you might find.
6. Become a spunky rule-bender at Betty Danger's Country Club
Have a cocktail and ride the city of Minneapolis' only vertical rotating patio (since ferris wheels are strictly forbidden within the city). Play some mini golf after that and choose your next destination. It's all fun and games here!
If you have access to a sailboat, you're about to become a sailor worthy of the high seas! Sailing across Lake Harriet on a beautiful summer or early fall day is just as adventurous as it gets.
If you're really wanting to kick it up a notch, head over to this gothic themed nightclub in Northeast where things can get pretty rowdy. If you're needing a little more of a rush, visit the bar on bondage night for some devilish fun and games.
Ground Zero Nightclub is located at 15 4th Ave. NE, Minneapolis, MN 55413.
