It wouldn’t be Christmas without Christmas lights. Luckily for Minnesotans, we have plenty of beautiful light displays that will put even the biggest Grinch into the holiday spirit. From brightly lit Polar Express train rides to charming Christmas villages, there are a lot of lights to see in Minnesota. One of the most dazzling? A residential Christmas display called Trista Lights. This awe-inspiring Christmas display is made up of over 17,000 lights, and it’s truly mesmerizing.
Trista Lights has been impressing Minnesotans since 2015. For the past two years, visitors have stopped by to ogle the impressive display. You'll find them at 4386 Trista Bend in Minnetrista, Minnesota.
Since the beginning, the display has been a little different from traditional light displays. The precisely hung lights are digital, making it possible to turn them into shifting rainbows of colors and scenes.
The display is made up of more than 17,000 lights. This number is especially impressive because it's a residential display. But even if it weren't, the festive Christmas scenes that show on the house during the show are incredibly impressive.
The show lasts for 12 minutes and can be seen every night through December 30. The show starts at 6 p.m. and goes until 9 p.m. Sunday through Thursday and 10 p.m. on weekends.
