You Could Spend An Entire Day Exploring This Massive Minnesota Art Collection
The most surprising art collection in Minnesota is not on display in the Twin Cities or Rochester – or even Duluth for that matter, where you’d expect to find museums or galleries lined with the works of masters from around the world. No – you’ll find the most surprising (and surprisingly large) art collection in the Land of 10,000 Lakes in the charming city of Winona at the quite wonderful Minnesota Museum of Marine Art.
This art collection in Minnesota goes so deep – and is updated with new exhibits so regularly – that you’ll want to come back a few times every year. Learn more about the museum and explore its collection on the Minnesota Marine Art Museum website. Or check out the museum’s Facebook page for the latest news and events. While you’re in town, be sure to grab a meal at Nosh Scratch Kitchen – it’s easily one of my favorite restaurants. If you visit from the Twin Cities, you could even take the train down to Winona and enjoy the Bluff Country as you go.
