The cornerstone of the church is still found inside the church. There is also a five-foot-tall statue of the Blessed Virgin Mary that dates back to the 1860s.

This historic church is also listed on the National Register of Historic Places. If you get the chance, visit. The beautiful red brick can be seen from a mile away.

The Church of St. Mary's is located at 8433 239th Street East in New Trier, Minnesota. Visit in summer to see the contrast of the red brick against green grass. But it's beautiful under a blanket of snow in winter, too.
