In 2021, the Ice Palace Maze in Stillwater, Minnesota was the largest ice maze in the United States. This impressive structure was in a can't-miss-it location in the parking lot of Stillwater's Zephyr Theatre.

Nowadays you can find the impressive ice maze in Eagan, Minnesota thanks to the Minnesota Ice Company.
The attraction is made up of 1,500 large blocks of ice painstakingly arranged into a large maze. Those who beat the maze can slide down a 36-foot ice slide!

It is an absolute blast exploring this glistening ice palace, and they build it differently every year so there's always something new and exciting to discover.
The maze includes a half-mile of twists and turns made up of nine-foot-tall ice walls. At night, colorful lights will guide your way through the maze. It's fun for people of all ages!

Lit up by different colored lights and crowned by strands of string lights, this maze has a particularly magical and otherworldly feel to it.

The event has become known as the Minnesota Ice Festival. Unfortunately, the 2024 festival was canceled due to warmer temps than usual.
Generally, as long as the weather stays cold, the ice maze event goes from the beginning of January to the end of February.

You can spend all day here having fun for the whole family.
Only 100 people are allowed in the maze at a time, and tickets are required for entry. But you can use your ticket all day to keep coming back for more fun.

Costumes are allowed in the festival, so if you're moved to dress up like Elsa, all the power to you!
