When it comes to states with excellent breweries, most people do not think of putting Minnesota near the top of the list. But the Land of 10,000 Lakes may surprise you. Our state is home to nearly 200 breweries, according to a 2019 count, making it one of the top 15 brewery-filled states in the nation. There are plenty of large breweries that are well-known to beer-loving Minnesotans, such as Castle Danger in Two Harbors, Summit in St. Paul, and Surly in Minneapolis. And there are many smaller breweries as well, including the one we’d like to share today. Read on below to learn about the teeny tiny Karst Brewing in the small town of Fountain, Minnesota.
