Here in Minnesota, with the winter frost settling in, it’s hard to imagine that spring will ever come. We still have a few more months of cold and snow ahead of us, but that doesn’t mean we can’t get temporary respite from it. If you can’t swing a trip to a warmer climate, the next best thing is to visit one of Minnesota’s indoor water parks. At the Edgewater Hotel in Duluth, Minnesota, there’s an indoor beach that will save you from winter’s chill. Take a look:
The Edgewater Resort in Duluth is a popular spot all year long, partly thanks to the Edge, its on-site waterpark. The resort's address is 2400 London Rd., Duluth, MN 55812.
Many choose to make a long weekend out of their visit by staying in a comfortable, beautiful room. Though not required to use the waterpark, it certainly makes accessing the park much easier.
For those who prefer a more relaxing time at this indoor beach, the lazy river might be what you're looking for. It meanders for 400 feet through the park.
Have you ever been to the Edge? What are your other favorite indoor beaches and waterparks in Minnesota? For more information about visiting the Edge at the Edgewater Hotel in Duluth, check out their website or Facebook page.
