When winter hits in Minnesota it brings brutally cold weather, capable of freezing entire streams, waterfalls, and lakes. We found these snapshots of ice formations in Minnesota that are stunning and unique, so that even in the most miserable of weather, we can still enjoy the true beauty of nature.

2. On Lake Superior, this harbor staircase is completed covered in ice creating a frozen window for light to filter through.
