When winter hits Minnesota, it’s easy to succumb to the urge to stay indoors for months on end. But in a state as beautiful as ours, with so many interesting things to do, that would be a big mistake. Let’s not let the cold weather hold us back but instead embrace it for giving us beautiful things like ice and snow. Today, we want to introduce one of the most magical places you can visit in Minnesota this winter. It’s a castle made entirely out of ice! This enchanting attraction is in Maple Grove, Minnesota, while the weather remains cold, and you should add it to the top of your winter bucket list. So dress warm, like really warm, and head on over to the Ice Castles to check them out!
This event is happening this winter until the ice melts so make sure you plan ahead because this is one winter event you will not want to miss. For more information, including dates, times, and booking your tickets, visit the Ice Castles website. If you want to stay for the night, especially if you want to see this fantastic attraction lit up under the night sky, then book a night at this Maple Grove home (With a basketball court in it!)
And if you’re looking for other outdoor activities to do this winter, check out our past article about a peaceful winter hike.
