In case you haven’t gotten enough scares out of Minnesota’s corn mazes, haunted houses, abandoned houses, and generally terrifying Halloween attractions, then you can probably make it through a night at one of MN’s haunted hotels! There are several to choose from, and you just might be lucky (or unlucky) enough to witness something creepy during your stay!
Easily MN's #1 haunted hotel, The Palmer House Hotel is home to many a chilling tale, and has been featured in the news many times and even on the Travel Channel for its wealth of paranormal activity.
Room #207 is known to ring reception when nobody is there, and room #308 is full of ghostly activity. There have also been sightings of a lady in the hallway, a suited man, and the piano playing on its own.
Over the years, people have reported spotting a lady in white dress, a workman in overalls, whispers, cold spots, staring faces in the basement, and babies crying when there are none present.
Legend has it Doc Powell or Buffalo Bill haunt this classic B&B and people have reported electrical surges and moved items as well as ghosts making noises like banging pots and pans.
5. The Historic Water Street Inn, The Grille and Charlie's Irish Pub, Stillwater.
The former jail, funeral home, and then bootleggers' hangout is of course haunted! People have spotted both a young boy and a women lurking around these rooms.
