Tucked away in Southern MN, most don’t realize a park as spectacular as Forestville Mystery Cave State Park exists. The cave is truly one of a kind, and exploring it is one of the best Minnesota adventures. You can take a huge variety of tours underground, and even visit Forestville in the same park, a beautiful restored 1800s village.

The Mystery Cave was discovered in 1937, and is the longest one in MN spanning over 13 miles.

You can take a variety of tours, ranging from the one hour scenic tour ($12 for adults and $7 for kids) to the two hour wild caving tour where you gear up and explore the undeveloped cave ($75 for those over 13 only).
