Summertime in Minnesota is unlike anywhere else. People do all they can to get outside and enjoy the few short months of warm weather and sunshine we have. The many hikes, parks, and beaches make it easy to find things to do. But what if you’re looking for something a little more unique? There’s a huge Minnesota food truck festival every year that will bring you face-to-face with local restaurants and their delicious food. Trust us when we say this food truck festival is what dreams are made of. Take a look:
Food truck festivals in Minnesota are a summertime tradition, especially in the Twin Cities. There are actually three chances to take part. The Uptown, Anoka, and St. Paul Food Truck Festivals are all worth visiting.
No matter which of the three festivals you attend, you can be sure that it will draw crowds eager to taste the best that the Twin Cities have to offer.
Each festival is free to enter. All you need to do is show up! There will be dozens of food trucks for you to choose from. At 65 trucks, the Uptown event has the most options.
A bite or two from each truck is a tasty and affordable way to discover new foods. By the time you walk away, you'll have an idea of which restaurants you'd love to visit — and which trucks you want to revisit.
The Uptown, Anoka, and St Paul Food Truck Festivals are some of the best events of the summer. In 2019, the Uptown event will be on Sunday, June 23. In Anoka, you can take part on Saturday, July 20. And in St. Paul, the event is on Saturday, August 17. For more information about these events, check out the website and Facebook page.
