If you’re searching for a dining adventure in Minnesota, you needn’t look any further than the Twin Cities suburb of Richfield. It’s there that you’ll find Andale Taqueria, an eclectic Minnesota restaurant that serves up delicious Mexican fare from several regions and even has its own attached market, where you can pick up everything from pastries to piñatas. Take a look!
You’ll find Andale Taqueria y Mercado in a former gas station on Nicollet Ave. near I-494 in Richfield.
Personally, I love the breakfast here. I’m also a fan of going with a friend or two, so we can share the molcajete - a platter of meats and veggies, served with tortillas, beans, and rice.
What makes Andale so unique is its attached market, which sells all manner of fresh produce, particularly those that used in dishes with a Latin flair.
You’ll also find Mexican and South American packaged goods, as well as toiletries, medicines, and other products you won’t get in a typical Minnesota grocery store.
Perhaps most relevant to your postprandial perusing is the wide selection of pastries and desserts. Definitely eat your meal before wandering into the store, so you can keep your wits about you!
Even Guy Fieri can't resist the food at this eclectic Minnesota restaurant:
Visit Andale Taqueria and Market on the web for more information or to see its hours; you can also check out the taqueria’s Facebook page to see some mouthwatering images of its food. Andale is an awesome place to stop for lunch or dinner – or both – while on a shopping excursion to REI’s Bloomington Flagship store or Mall of America, both of which are just minutes away.
