A Drone Flew High Above An Uninhabited Lake In Minnesota And Caught The Most Incredible Footage
Minnesota’s many state parks, trails, and other natural areas make it easy to explore our state. But there are still plenty of areas that remain unexplored by most Minnesotans. For example, the Boundary Waters is a vast expanse of wilderness in northern Minnesota. It would be nearly impossible for any one person to thoroughly explore it. But it is possible to get a unique view of the Boundary Waters by drone. YouTube user RubberPantz used a drone to create a spectacular video of one Boundary Waters lake from above. The footage is incredible, and it’ll inspire you to go forth and explore this part of Minnesota.

In the drone video below, the pilot explores the uninhabited Flour Lake. This lake is surrounded on all sides by vast forest. Starting from a lakeside campsite, the drone travels 1,500 feet into the area. It shows off the tops of trees, the outline of the lake, and the breathtaking beauty of Minnesota's Boundary Waters.
There you have it! We hope this beautiful footage inspires you to take a Boundary Waters trip of your own one day. For more information about the Boundary Waters, take a look at our past article. And if you enjoy drone footage, check out our article about a drone that flew over Duluth.
