The Kiwanis Falls Popcorn Stand is a nostalgic attraction in Granite Falls, Minnesota. This small community of around 2,600 people is about 120 miles west of the Twin Cities.
The popcorn stand has been in Granite Falls for longer than anyone can remember. No one knows the true date it opened, but it was likely sometime in the 1920s or 1930s. That means it is around 100 years old!
The stand is steeped in nostalgia. Many people in and around Granite Falls have been visiting it for their entire lives. In the summertime, the stand gets plenty of business.
