Unique restaurants abound in the Land of 10,000 Lakes – and so do libraries. But rarely do these two delightful attractions meet – until now. There’s a beautiful spot in Hopkins, Minnesota, dedicated to food, beer, and books. Book lovers will adore the bright, cheery atmosphere. Food lovers will delight in the simple but tasty menu. And beer aficionados will marvel at the great selection on tap. Sound like a dream? Read on to learn more about Cream & Amber, a one-of-a-kind library restaurant in Minnesota.
Cream & Amber is a lovely little spot in downtown Hopkins, Minnesota. You'll find it nestled among plenty of other interesting shops and restaurants in the Minneapolis suburb.
Of course, the walls are lined with books. There are new and used books for sale here, with plenty of variety. Whether you like fiction, nonfiction, or poetry, you'll likely find it here.
But Cream & Amber isn't just about the books. This place was conceived as somewhere that books and beer can collide. Several brews are on tap, but if that's not your thing, there is also wine, coffee, and soda.
Even fancier options include pesto & mozzarella or apple & Swiss. Yum! Add a tasty salad or cup of soup to your meal, and you have an almost-perfect lunch.
We highly recommend this fun library restaurant for anyone with a love of food, books, or beer - or all of the above! They are open Tuesday-Saturday 7 a.m. to 9 p.m., and Sunday 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. Plan your trip today!
