Minnesota might as well be called the Land of 10,000 Burgers! It seems that almost every day, we come across a new-to-us restaurant that specializes in delicious burger creations. The spot we’d like to feature today, Chip’s Clubhouse in St. Paul, Minnesota, is no different. But it does come with a twist: instead of traditional burgers, they’re patty melts! But they’re every bit as scrumptious. Read on below – and pay them a visit – to see for yourself:
Chip’s Clubhouse is a restaurant in St. Paul, Minnesota. Though it is not as well-known as it should be, it is still a popular spot for those looking for a scrumptious meal in a nice, low-key atmosphere.
Though it is new on the Twin Cities restaurant scene, Chip’s Clubhouse has an old-school vibe, with cozy booths and walls lined with old-fashioned photos and artwork.
Despite the antique-style decor, Chip’s Clubhouse is a modern restaurant with fresh, delicious flavors. Much of the menu is made up of classic fare, exactly the types of dishes you’d find in any great pub. If you're just in for an app and a drink, you can't go wrong with a plate of wings.
If your appetite is a bit bigger, you may enjoy some of the other popular menu options. Fish and chips is always a winner. You'll also find plenty of burgers, a prime rib sandwich, and even a delicious pork belly ramen.
You're bound to enjoy any of the menu offerings, but one stands above the rest: the mushroom patty melt. A beef patty is nestled between two thick slices of toast and loaded with shiitake mushrooms, cheese, caramelized onions, and aioli.
Alongside an order of special house fries, and this is a meal that knocks it out of the park. If you're looking for a new restaurant to try - and a new sandwich to devour - run over to Chip's Clubhouse to give their patty melt a whirl.
