It goes without saying that tacos are probably the best food ever. The mix of fresh ingredients, bold flavors, and soft tortillas make for a truly delicious culinary experience. And in Minnesota, it’s not as hard as you might imagine to find a truly out-of-this-world taco. We may be about as far north of the border as you can get, but Minnesota still has a few restaurants that whip up a delicious taco. Here are some of the best:
1. El Taco Riendo, Minneapolis
El Taco Riendo uses tortillas made by a local tortilleria, and it stuffs them with fresh tortills to match. Find them at a newly updated location in Northeast Minneapolis, or grab a bite to go from the food truck. Pay them a visit at 2412 Central Avenue in Minneapolis.
2. Taqueria Los Ocampo, St. Paul and Minneapolis
Taqueria Los Ocampo has four Twin Cities locations, so you'll be able to eat delicious tacos no matter where in the city you are. With bold flavors and great prices, you can't go wrong at Los Ocampo. Try a Los Ocampo taco at 895 Arcade Street in St. Paul, or at 809 East Lake Street in Minneapolis.
3. World Street Kitchen, Minneapolis

4. Taqueria La Hacienda, Minneapolis and Burnsville
Taqueria La Hacienda has been serving up tacos in Minnesota since 1999. They're best known for their mouth-watering tacos al pastor.
