They ranked the city based on factors such as health, cost of living, safety, amenities, and overall quality of life. Chanhassen, Minnesota, is a lovely community of about 20,000 people just southwest of Minneapolis. Given its many amenities, it's no wonder that it was named the best place to live in the U.S.

For one thing, this well-kept community is lovely whether you're in a commercial zone or a residential area. The many attractions are bustling, but the neighborhoods are quiet and safe, with lovely tree-lined streets in abundance.

There are plenty of attractions to keep you busy in Chanhassen. Of course, we would be remiss not to mention Paisley Park, the private estate of Prince. Tours are available of this legendary residence, and special exhibitions bring even more interest to the estate.
