On weekdays from 11:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m., you can dive into a yummy burger and fries, served with a top-notch frozen treat to wash it down. 4. Annie's Parlour - Minneapolis
You may recall that Annie’s Parlour made our list of
restaurants with fries so good they should be the main course . Well, we’re here to tell you that their malts are out-of-this-world delicious, too! If you haven’t stopped in, be sure you do. Order any malt with a side of fries. You won't regret it!

5. Hi-Lo Diner - Minneapolis
There's often a line out the door at the Hi-Lo Diner - and for good reason. The 1950s vibe makes you feel like you’ve stepped back in time. 6. PortLand Malt Shoppe - Duluth
We can’t think of a better way to spend a warm, sunny day in Duluth than watching the ships and sailboats on Lake Superior. Couple that with a malt from PortLand Malt Shoppe and you’ve got yourself the perfect day! This spot is beautiful, charming, and perfectly nostalgic. 7. The King of Creams - Duluth
The King of Creams has something for everyone, from burgers to beers and everything in between. The newly renovated interior is so cozy and inviting, you’ll be counting down to a return visit before you’ve even left! The old-fashioned malts may seem plain and simple with flavor options of only chocolate, strawberry or vanilla, but you’ll be shocked to find how great they taste. 8. Val's Rapid Serv - St. Cloud
If you haven’t stopped in to Val’s, you’re certainly missing out! Their burger and fries will leave your mouth watering for more and your stomach satisfied! 9. Milkjam Creamery - Minneapolis
Next time you’re stuck in a traffic jam in Minneapolis, park your car and head over to Milkjam Creamery for quite possibly the best cold treat you’ve ever had! There are plenty of flavors available for every sweet tooth in the crowd, but we love Milkjam Creamery for their adult floats! For these cool concoctions, you must be twenty-one or older to order. 10. Conny's Creamy Cone - St. Paul
Don’t blink or you may miss Conny’s Creamy Cone. This unassuming corner ice cream shop is worth the stop. Offering chili dogs and cheese curds, too, this spot has it all. 11. Bridgeman's Restaurant - Duluth
The juicy burgers and decadent malts served here are what dreams are made of! This Duluth ice creamery should be added to your North Shore must-do list as soon as possible!
