The Anoka Hardware Store is a speakeasy just outside of the Twin Cities, in Anoka, Minnesota. Since it opened, it's become a popular spot for those looking for a cool atmosphere, great drinks, and live music.
You'll find the bar in downtown Anoka, tucked away among many other businesses. A nondescript door with a red light above it will let you know you've found the right spot. Reservations are highly recommended.
Inside, the speakeasy has a cool, dark atmosphere. There are several seating areas where your group can gather. Sleek furnishings and moody lighting add to the secret speakeasy vibe.
There are even heavy curtains between each space so that you can make your gathering feel a bit more intimate. At the end of the room, a small stage is set up for live music events.
