Annie’s Parlour, a beloved burger joint and malt shop in Minneapolis, Minnesota, has finally reopened. This Dinkytown institution, near the University of Minnesota, was a campus fixture for years before it closed in 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Almost four years later, after many delays and the death of the patriarch of the Rimarcik family, who own Annie’s along with several other iconic Minneapolis eateries, Annie’s Parlour is finally back, and I, for one, couldn’t be happier.
So, I offer a my hearty “Welcome back!” to this treasure of a malt shop in Minneapolis, Minnesota – and I can’t wait to line up for a plaza burger! Annie’s Parlour has a Facebook page but isn’t all that active. Even so, you can check out the eatery’s menu there. It’s been pretty busy since it reopened in late February 2024, so ordering burgers and malts for take out and having a little staycation at home may not be a bad move – at least until the rush dies down a bit.
