Is there anything more magical than a group of twirling fairies? Regardless of your age, there’s something undoubtedly delightful about these mythical creatures, and it’s not often that fairytales come to life. But there’s one festival in Jackson, Michigan that celebrates the wonderful world of fairies, and you’ll find yourself completely enchanted.
The Annual Fairy Festival takes place each spring at Jackson School of the Arts. This year’s festival is scheduled for the weekend of Friday, April 21st.
Admission to the festival is free, and special attractions on-site typically cost no more than five dollars — so you can enter a real-life wonderland without breaking the bank.
On the first evening of the festival, grab tickets to the Twilight Fairy Gala, which is just as charming as it sounds. Dress in your favorite fairy garb and enjoy music, food, and performances.
Attendees will even have the chance to interact with a "real" unicorn and stroll through a butterfly garden. Around every bend, there’s something new to explore.
Of course, the fairy garb is a major draw of the festival! Is there anything more charming than mingling with dozens of friends decked out in whimsical clothing?
