Hungarian Falls Nature Area consists of 10 acres and loads of opportunities to make wholesome family memories. There are trail options here for hikers of various abilities, so it’s easy to have a blast.
To access the preserve and falls, visitors can choose to walk in via nearby Golf Course Road or alongside a beautiful gorge from Tamarack City. Stroll along the upper access trail for the best views of the falls.
A short hike will lead to brilliant views of the top of the falls, where beauty abounds in every season. There’s even a pond in this space, which offers an ideal location for wildlife-viewing and genuine serenity.
During the warmer months, greenery and gorgeous blooms abound throughout Hungarian Falls Nature Area. Come autumn, the trees burst into hues of red, orange, and yellow as stunning foliage emerges.
In total, the falls consist of 90 feet, with the largest of three drops measuring in at 50 feet. If you have the time and energy, we recommend exploring each and every section of the waterfall for a complete experience.
