Located on Lake Huron, this sanctuary protects 116 shipwrecked ships. Visitors to this site can check out the Great Lakes Maritime Heritage Center, where they can learn the stories of the 19th and 20th-century vessels.
This stretch of highway takes you to several of the state's wonders, including the brilliance of fall colors, Michigan's wine country, the Platte River, and the Leelanau Peninsula.
