9 Phrases That Are Like Music To Michiganders' Ears

Oh, Michigan — you sure are a unique place to live. For those of us lucky enough to reside in the Great Lakes State, life is undoubtedly an adventure. While each and every Michigander is different, there are a few phrases that make the majority of our state’s residents perk up. Here are nine of our favorites.

Michiganders know that being a Lions fan comes with a hearty dose of disappointment and anger, but that doesn’t stop us from cheering them on — even when they narrowly lose on Thanksgiving Day. But the football-induced pain is almost worth it when we get to celebrate a victory.
