Are you absolutely obsessed with autumn? For many folks, fall is the most wonderful time of the year, especially when it includes family togetherness, adventures among the foliage, and cozy evenings in. There’s one celebration here in the Great Lakes State that will allow you to embrace all things autumn in the most fun way possible – and you’ll want to mark your calendars now.
Diehl’s Orchard & Cider Mill is located at 1479 Ranch Rd in Holly.
This local gem has drawn in visitors of all ages for upwards of 60 years, offering everything from deliciously fresh apples to special events. There’s something for everyone.
One of the orchard’s most beloved and popular events is Ciderfest, an annual celebration of all things fall. This year, the festival returns for its 40th year of excitement.
Festivities for 2020 will take place September 26th and 27th from 9 a.m. until 6 p.m. at Diehl’s. While activities might look different this year, families will still have a blast.
Make your way through a corn maze or check out the kiddie maze, which is designed for younger attendees. When you’re through, get in line for an adorable pony ride.
Of course, no fall gathering is complete without a pumpkin patch, and Ciderfest delivers. Search for the perfect pumpkin and snap a few photos throughout the orchard.
Hungry? You’re in luck: festival-goers can purchase food from Hog Wild BBQ throughout the day, not to mention plenty of donuts, treats, and - you guessed it - apple cider.
Whether you’re perusing the farm market and craft show or simply strolling the grounds, you’ll find so many ways to celebrate the arrival of fall during Ciderfest at Diehl’s Orchard.
