You can dine inside one of these hidden gems at the Old City Hall Restaurant in Bay City, Michigan. Get ready to learn some local history, eat a delicious meal, and maybe even see a spooky ghost when you dine at this unique eatery.
Old City Hall is a casual fine-dining restaurant in riverfront Bay City, Michigan.
The restaurant is housed inside Bay City’s first city hall, built in 1891 on "Hell’s half-mile," so called due to the brothels, saloons, and wild activity that happened on the street.
A new city hall building was erected shortly after, and the old city hall building was abandoned.
Downtown Bay City is now on the National Register of Historic Place and is a lovely, family-friendly place to visit. A delightful restaurant has found a home inside the old city hall building and given it new life.

Old City Hall has a fully stocked bar with liquor, domestic and imported beers, and over 150 wines from around the world.
The bar isn’t the only place where you’ll find spirits; keep your eyes peeled for ghosts, as there have been many eyewitnesses of supernatural occurrences in the building.
Some of the delicious offerings awaiting you are burgers, wings, crab cakes, fresh salads, and a mouthwatering cheese board. You can finish off your meal with a sweet slice of cake, tiramisu, or cheesecake.
On a warm summer day, you can sit outside and experience the thriving downtown area.
