Legend holds a killer hanged all six family members who resided in the house from its gables, then proceeded to set the fire to the home and end his own life.
Other tales claim that a witch is to blame for the spooky happenings on Seven Gables Road. One story states that if a scream is heard on the road, the last person to jump over the nearby fence will die.
