Participants will first receive training on how a luge sled works, how to steer, how to stop, and how to position their bodies on the sled. Speeds reach up to a staggering 30 miles per hour, and you will need to sign a waiver when you purchase your tickets for the Muskegon luge.
You will then be fitted with a proper sled and given a helmet and armpads to keep yourself safe. Now you’ll make the climb up to the top of the hill where you’ll sled down for the ride of your life!
Muskegon Luge makes accommodations for visitors with disabilities. The luge programs have sleds adapted with reigns for adventurers without lower body mobility. Lugers with visual or hearing impairments are also welcome and can be provided with additional or modified communication.
