11 Things You Really Hope Santa Brings Michigan For Christmas

By now, you should be well familiar with all the Christmas lists in your family. You’ve probably gotten just about everything checked off your shopping list, too. But do you ever stop and think about what you’d like Santa to bring our great state of Michigan? We gotta say, we have a few ideas that you just might like.
It's been almost 10 years since Michigan got to host a Super Bowl. And a lot has changed since then, especially in Detroit. Isn't it about time we got another crack at it and show the world what we're made of these days?
Winter comes and all the roads open up with crater-sized potholes. And then the rest of the year is spent trying to patch them up. A year without the mess would be great.

If you live or work in a struggling city, chances are good that you might be paying an extra income tax. Property taxes can be astronomical too in places like Detroit. And again, back to those roads, we're asked to pay even more to fix those same roads. Where does it end, Santa?

We think it's a little overdue that the Red Wings take home the glory.
We've got some of the best guilty pleasure cuisine around. Starchy, oily, fatty, and sweet. Why can't we eat it all, without concern over weight gain or diabetes?
