The holiday season is nearly upon us, and there’s no better way to ring in the festivities than by heading out for a beautiful celebration with loved ones. Michigan comes to life during the winter months, but there’s one spot here in the Great Lakes State where you’ll find a unique holiday gathering. Prepare to immerse yourself in the spirit of the season.
Frankenmuth’s annual Holiday Celebration and Candlewalk will take place on November 29th, 2019.
This unique event begins at the Frankenmuth River Place Shops, which are located at 925 S Main St. Bring along the entire family for this one-of-a-kind holiday gathering.
As its name suggests, the Candlewalk offers a sense of peace and warmth that will bring the joy of the season to life. Even the Grinch himself would enjoy this fun event.
Attendees will hold gorgeous candles and stroll from the River Place Shops to the Chamber Platz area of Frankenmuth, singing carols and enjoying merriment along the way.
Following this magical stroll, which starts at 6 p.m., event-goers will gather ‘round to watch the Tannenbaum lighting, thus officially kicking off the Christmas season.
If that weren’t enough, Santa Claus himself is expected to make an appearance. Kids and adults alike will enjoy the chance to meet and snap photos with jolly ol’ Saint Nick.
When the walk and tree-lighting are through, be sure to explore the endless delights of downtown Frankenmuth and work on this year’s holiday shopping list.
