There’s a castle in Michigan that could be straight out of the Harry Potter books. With conical towers, stone walls, and vast gardens, Castle Farms in Charlevoix is the perfect place for Potterheads to pretend they are at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry and it’s a prime location for a wedding. Believe it or not, this place was once a popular venue for rock concerts. Once known as Castle Farms Music Theatre, it ran from 1977 to 1996 and hosted musicians and bands such as Donovan, Cheap Trick, Billy Squier, Willie Nelson, and Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers. These days, it is the premier place in Michigan for fairytale weddings, and for fantasy fans to celebrate in a wondrous medieval setting – especially Harry Potter events! (And yes, they do host a few!)
