Are you looking for a warm and fuzzy family outing? Playing with goats – and ponies, pigs, llamas, dogs, and barn cats – must be at the top of your bucket list! Family-owned Fellinlove Farm, named for the rare resident Fell ponies, offers hands-on animal interactions for people of all ages and abilities. After your animal encounter, extend your outdoor adventures when you walk the Stu Visser Trails nearby.
During your visit to Fellinlove Farm in Holland, Gingko, a Nubian goat, will be on hand to greet and entertain you.
This is a 1.5-mile out-and-back trail that includes a boardwalk over wetlands. Be on the lookout for birds and turtles. Dogs are welcome. Keep in mind, however, that after heavy rain the trail may flood.
Who could resist playing with goats and learning about farm animals? Rounding out the day with a quick hike complete with the opportunity to view wildlife can’t be beat. For more information, visit the Fellinlove Farm website and Facebook page, or the Stu Visser Trails website.
