Amazingly, Michigan is home to 103 state parks – and you know what this means. On one hand, you’ll never run out of nooks and crannies to explore. On the other, some places are bound to slip through the cracks. Take the awesomeness that is Orchard Beach State Park. This stunning state park in Michigan is calling your name.

With more than three and a half miles of beautiful trails winding through the park, you could walk around forever.

Orchard Beach State Park is situated on a 100-foot-high bluff overlooking Lake Michigan.

It used to be that you could take the beautiful steps pictured above to access the beach, but in 2019, it was decided that the erosion thanks to high water levels was too much, and the beach was closed off to visitors.
Not to worry, though - the views are still utterly amazing, and that's what most of us came for anyway.
