You’ve undoubtedly visited some of Michigan’s most famous outdoor areas, from state parks on the shores of Lake Michigan, to Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore in the far reaches of the Upper Peninsula. While there’s plenty to be said for these more well-known spots, nothing beats the experience of exploring a hidden gem. One such park in the Great Lakes State will capture your imagination as soon as you stop by. Come along as we show you the beautiful gem called Elizabeth Park in Michigan.
Elizabeth Park can be accessed via Jefferson Street in Trenton.
Elizabeth Park is home to upwards of 1,300 feet of frontage along the shores of the Detroit River, offering plenty of space for fishing and other leisurely outdoor activities.
Take your vessel on the water via the boat launch, enjoy lunch under one of two picnic shelters, or simply venture out for a stroll among the park’s 162 spectacular acres.
If that weren’t enough, the park is home to Children’s Pony Ranch.
