You'll definitely be asking friends or family to mail you Vernor's, especially if it's to cure that nasty hangover or cold.
4. Cheering for our sports teams.
Our Detroit pride is contagious and we live for our sports team. No matter how good or bad they're doing, we will continue to root for them and be proud of it!
5. The stunning architecture.
The Fisher Building, the Guardian Building, the Penobscot Building and the One Detroit Center, just to name a few, are all art deco gems that you won't find anywhere else.
6. The amazing views.
Taking a stroll down the Detroit International Riverwalk is definitely something to be missed. The views of Canada, Belle Isle, and the Detroit River are simply amazing.
7. Our city's history.
We are chock full of history and it's something every Detroiter should be proud of. Just take a walk through The Henry Ford Museum and Greenfield Village if you need a helpful reminder.
8. The music scene.
We're known for our great music history and we undeniably have the best venues for music. From seeing your favorite musicians at big concert arenas to jamming out to local bands at hole-in-the-wall bars, the music scene will never fade.
9. Taking a fun trip to Windsor, Canada.
What Detroiter hasn't made the ten-minute drive out to Windsor, Canada? Where else can you go to another country with a bunch of friends and have the time of your life?
10. The varieties of food choices.
You can drive anywhere in Detroit and find a variety of food choices. From Middle Eastern, German, Polish, Greek, Italian, Mexican, and more, the possibilities are endless.
11. What's not to miss?
The memories we have for Detroit can never be replaced! This city will always be home no matter where we are.
