It might be hard to believe as we muddle through the aftermath of a polar vortex, but springtime is right around the corner. Before we know it, warmer days will be upon us here in the Motor City, along with plenty of sunshine and a sense of rejuvenation among Detroiters. It’s never too early to start planning your spring outings, so here are eight of our favorite must-visit spots in Detroit that belong on your bucket list.
1. Detroit River International Wildlife Refuge (Gross Ile)
You don’t have to be an outdoorsy person to know that there’s something magical about the first day of warm weather after a long, snowy winter season.
