Elmwood Cemetery is said to be one of the most haunted places in Detroit. This is the site of the Battle of Bloody Run, an ambush by Chief Pontiac's army on British soldiers. The blood of the dead British soldiers would run into the creek, turning the water red. It's also one of Michigan's oldest cemeteries.
Colonel Philetus Norris, who is said to have never left this dark, old dive bar, established the Two Way Inn in 1875. His ghost is said to be keeping an eye on the place from arson.

There is an old legend on Belle Isle of a Native American girl who was sent to the island to protect her beauty from suitors. She was lonely and even after her death, it's said that she still haunts the bridge near Tacoma Lake. It's also said that she usually takes the form of a white deer.

It's said that magician Harry Houdini wanders the Majestic Theatre. He gave one of his last performances here in 1926 before he passed away.
In 1905, cook Rose Barron was demoted to scrubwoman and didn't like it one bit. She secretly added arsenic into biscuits and poisoned 40 families; two people died. It's said that the two who passed still haunt the apartment building.

This beautiful building is said to have its fair share of creepy and haunted things happen. From slamming doors to spooky noises, everything that ghosts like to do to scare the heck out of people has likely happened here.

There have been numerous occurrences of supernatural activity on all of the floors of the Whitney mansion. These paranormal activities are said to have occurred because of stories of owner David Whitney Jr. and his wife both dying in the home. To this day, people believe he still haunts the gorgeous mansion.
The 107-year-old boat used to take passengers to Boblo Island but now sits on the Detroit River waiting to be renovated. It's said that many ghosts haunt the boat and the old crew's quarters.
