If there’s one thing we know for sure about Detroit, it’s that you’ll never get bored here. There’s always something exciting going on, and it’s often a festival or gathering that celebrates Motor City’s strong sense of community. With summer right around the corner, we can’t wait for the return of Night Market at Beacon Park.
The park opened in July 2017 and quickly became a local favorite. With its huge circular lawn (the largest in the city!), Beacon Park has plenty of room to frolic on the grass, enjoy a picnic and even challenge your neighbors to a game of volleyball or soccer. You'll find this little oasis at 1901 Grand River Avenue.
This community event runs every Saturday from June 9 through August 25. The fun starts at 7 PM and goes non-stop until midnight. The market is free to attend.

Local craftspeople and vendors will offer everything from art to handmade craft items. You'll definitely want to spend some time checking out all the unique offerings and supporting these talented local businesses. Downtown Detroit Partnership is carefully curating the vendors, so you're sure to be delighted with the treasures you find.
