Jacoby's has been serving delicious, authentic German food and beer since it's opening in 1904. Albert Jacoby, a native of Luxembourg, took over Jake's Tavern after striking a deal with Voight Brewing Company. It was also said that his first German cook, Mina, decided to leave her old hotel job and work for Jacoby. She later became his wife.
