This quaint place will be your new favorite spot for yummy sandwiches, soups, and craft beer! Check out Mudgie’s Deli and you’ll be amazed at all that is has to offer us Detroiters!
Mudgie's Deli serves up delicious sandwiches, soups, and drinks.
Located on 1300 Porter St. in Detroit, Mudgie's Deli and Wine Shop is a one-of-a-kind deli that serves heavenly sandwiches stacked with Michigan-raised and grass-fed meat, housemade soups and fresh salads, and they even have a stocked bar of fine cocktails and over 100 kinds of beer!
When you think of a deli, you might think of a small shop that sells random food and drink items, but Mudgie's has reimagined the deli atmosphere as it's meant to be. You'll love the cozy space and seating while chowing down on a delicious creation from their long list of sandwiches.

Seriously, just take a look at these sandwiches...
Try the Mudige (beef brisket, house roasted turkey breast, house-made vegetable cream cheese, romaine lettuce, red onion and brownwood farm’s kream mustard on an onion roll) or the F'getaboutit (two pounds of Sy Ginsberg corned beef topped with mudgie-made creamy coleslaw or sauerkraut, swiss cheese, dearborn yellow mustard or our 1000 island dressing on a 2 pound loaf of crusty sourdough rye). There are also vegetarian options, too!
You can find their daily soup of the day on their Facebook and website. Some of their past specials have included Smoked turkey leg with cabbage and bacon, and chicken and dumpling soup.
Mudgie's definitely did not forget the most important meal of the day - brunch! On Sundays only, the deli serves a variety of yummy morning treats and breakfast-style sandwiches.
Mudgie's has been named "Detroit's Best Deli" seven years in a row, so you know it's good!
