If you’re ready to get outside, stretch your legs, and make lasting memories with loved ones, there’s one charming destination near Detroit that belongs on your seasonal bucket list. When autumn rolls around, many Detroiters choose to hunker down and avoid the dropping temperatures, but we’re inclined to seek out safe and exciting adventures near the Motor City. This annual corn maze certainly fits the bill.
Maybury Farm is located at 50165 Eight Mile Rd in Northville.
This charming spot, which can be reached by car from Detroit in approximately 40 minutes, is nothing short of a traditional fall destination for many local families.
The farm has served as a community icon for upwards of a century, offering visitors of all ages the chance to learn about farm animals, agriculture, and so much more.
Every fall, children and adults alike from throughout Metro Detroit head to Maybury Farm for fun in its sprawling corn maze. There’s no better way to get delightfully lost.
The 2021 corn maze opened on September 10th and will run through October 24th. Visit on Friday from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m., Saturday from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m., or Sunday from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.
If you opt for the full 10-acre maze, you can expect to spend about an hour making your way through. There’s also a one-acre “mini maze” that’s great for younger visitors.
The corn maze experience also includes a wagon ride to and from the maze. When you’re through, be sure to check out the rest of the farm or dig into a few fresh donuts.
Whether you’re a first-time maze explorer or a longtime fan of this fall tradition, one thing is for sure: Maybury Farm makes for an unbeatable autumn destination.
