  • Falling Waters Trail (Concord, Jackson):  This lovely, paved 10.5-mile trail safely connects the Village of Concord with the City of Jackson. Built on an abandoned stretch of the Michigan Central Railroad, the 12-foot-wide path attracts runners, bikers, and walkers to admire the natural springs and lakes along the way.
  • Belle Isle Lighthouse and Blue Heron Lagoon Trail (Detroit): Located in the charming Belle Isle Park, this 2.1-mile loop trail is an easy way to explore the surrounding nature. And look for the abundant wildflowers come spring.
