Not to get political, but we do have to be grateful for the modern day labor union, which has its roots in Michigan.
While the rest of the country is as many as three hours behind on their days, we in Michigan have the advantage of sharing the eastern time zone with the East Coast. Best part is, we live so close to central time that we always seem to have extra hours of sunlight come the summer months.
