Living near Detroit in Southeast Michigan, I always thought I had to drive at least a few hours away to reach some of the better places to ski in the Mitten. That’s until I found Mt. I was even more thrilled when I realized this is a perfect slope for beginners. Putting it bluntly, my wife is not a skier, but she’s always wanted to be able to ski with me.
