The waterfall’s pool is actually one of its prettiest features. Depending on the weather, the color of the pool ranges from a deep greenish blue to a vibrant turquoise.
It’s hard to believe this spot can be reached with just about 30 minutes of hiking, but it’s true! You can get to Wahconah Falls via a mile-long trail that’s easy enough for families and beginners.
Wahconah Falls State Park is open from sunrise to sunset all year. Please note that swimming in the pool is not allowed, though you’re encouraged to take plenty of pictures!
