True donut connoisseurs know that you can’t just go to a grocery store or Dunkin’ Donuts to satisfy your sweet tooth. When you want a real gourmet creation, you’ll have to make a trip to a real bakery. That’s why, when it comes to creating unique donuts and using artisan ingredients, there’s one spot (with four locations) in Massachusetts that always comes to mind and that’s Union Square Donuts.
If you haven’t tried them yet, now is your chance!
Union Square Donuts opened its first non-shared location in 2014 in Somerville, but it has been around even longer than that.
Each bite is filled with roasted marshmallow fluff filling, dark chocolate glaze, toasted marshmallow drizzle and homemade graham cracker crumble sprinkled on top.
Their baked cinnamon rolls are topped with a drizzle of their own sweet and sticky homemade brown butter icing.
To really enjoy these donuts, you’ll want to try them yourself at one of their four locations.
Hours vary by location, but their original shop in Somerville is open from 7 am – 6 pm Monday – Sunday. For more information on locations, hours, and menu, visit their website by clicking here.
