There is a special park in the middle of Danvers, Massachusetts that is the perfect place to spend a day with family. Whether you are looking to take a quiet stroll among the beautiful gardens, visit with farm animals, or spend an afternoon enjoying the playground equipment, this spot has something for everyone.
Endicott Park is one of my favorite places to spend an afternoon with my family. This 165-acre park offers up an array of beautiful spaces that are so much fun to discover and explore.

It seems like there is something new to look at and discover around every corner.
There is a beautiful pond located in the middle of the park.
There are also nearby picnic benches where you and your family can enjoy lunch or a snack after playing. I find this portable cooler does a great job keeping my picnic items cold.
Don't forget to stop by the barn and say hello to the farm animals.

There are goats, rabbits, chickens, and pigs. If you walk through the park, you will also encounter horses grazing in the field.
Endicott Park was once the site of a 19th-century farm. Many original buildings still exist and are used for events and activities. While you are visiting, you can pop in some of these historic structures and view antique farm equipment and other educational exhibits.
The park's nature center is also open on select days. The center offers rotating exhibits, art activities, and a reading corner.
If time allows, I highly suggested taking the trail to Glen Magna, the farm’s original mansion house. This magnificent home is maintained by the Danvers Historical Society and is a popular spot for weddings and other fancy events.
For more information about hours of operation and parking prices, please visit the Town of Danvers official website or the Endicott Park Facebook page. Have you spent a day at Endicott Park? What was your favorite thing to do there? Other fun parks to visit with the family include Green Hill Park in Worcester, Great Falls Discovery Center in Turner, and Hopkinton State Park in Hopkinton.
