However, if you’re ready for a dose of sunshine and tropical temperatures right now, there is a destination here in Massachusetts where you can get your fix. Magic Wings Butterfly Conservatory and Garden is a tropical wonderland where you can soak up the heat and take in jungle-like atmosphere. Enjoy the relaxing environment as butterflies of all colors fly around you. After a few minutes, you’ll completely forget the last dreary months of winter!
Magic Wings Butterfly Conservatory and Garden, located in South Deerfield, is a tropical wonderland full of gorgeous greenery, bright flowers, colorful butterflies, and a few surprises! After months of cold and snow it is the perfect place for some rejuvenating warmth.
Walk in and be greeted by the bright colors and stunning floral displays. Take a seat in the butterfly chair and capture a few snapshots for social media.
Step into the lush jungle environment and instantly feel the warmth. The 8,000-square foot conservatory houses nearly 4,000 native and tropical butterflies year round!
Keep your eyes peeled for butterflies. You'll start to notice that there are butterflies of every color, shape, and size taking flight all around the conservatory. This stunning Grecian Shoemaker butterfly is from Costa Rica.
Visiting Magic Wings is like taking an exotic vacation without leaving state lines. This Morpho butterfly can be found inside the conservatory and in the Amazon Forest!
Many visitors are excited to learn that the conservatory houses more than just butterflies. Magic Wings is also home to tropical frogs, tortoises, moths, Koi fish, and birds.
Admission for adults is $16. Admission for children aged 3 to 17 is $10. They also offer discounts to students and seniors, while children under 3 are free.
